At present, China has made the development of new resources for steroid hormone drugs one of the recent directions and priorities in the pharmaceutical industry. The steroid hormone drug database serves as an auxiliary tool to screen and gather core information of numerous steroid drugs, including systematic target analysis, activity analysis, and mechanism research, providing a research foundation for the development of anti-tumor drugs, reducing the cost of developing tumor drugs, and improving the survival rate of tumor patients. As of now, this database of steroid hormone compounds contains 91 steroid hormone drug compounds, including target classifications based on drug action mechanisms such as receptors, enzymes, ion channels, transporters, immune systems, and genes, as well as analysis of their inhibitory activity on cancer cells such as A549, MDA-MB-435S, LNCaP, HUSMC, and HELA. This database can to some extent promote the innovation and development of new drugs, help improve research and development efficiency, reduce procurement and testing costs, and thus achieve sustainable research.
